The problem

Important conversations move quickly. A question, objection, or important detail can appear while you are still listening, taking notes, and deciding what to say next. Veilo is a desktop AI meeting assistant built to reduce that cognitive load without forcing people to change the calling tools they already use.

Most meeting tools become useful after a call ends. They record, transcribe, and summarize what has already happened. That helps with documentation, but it does not help when someone asks a difficult question in the middle of a sales call or when an important decision depends on context from an earlier conversation.

Veilo is designed for the meeting itself. It keeps assistance close enough to use in the moment, then turns the same conversation into a useful record after the call.

Real-time help during live calls

Veilo runs on the desktop and stays available as a compact overlay. During a call, a user can ask for guidance, generate a suggested reply, identify a useful follow-up question, or catch up on a part of the conversation they missed.

Because it works at the desktop level, the assistant can be used across Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Discord, Slack Huddles, and other calling applications without waiting for a separate integration for every platform.

Screen-aware answers

Audio alone is not always enough context. A participant may be presenting a dashboard, reviewing a document, or discussing a design that is visible on screen but never described clearly out loud.

When the user allows it, Veilo can read the screen and combine that visual context with the live conversation. This makes its answers more relevant to what the user is actually looking at. Screen access remains an explicit mode that can be turned on when needed.

A useful record of every conversation

The value of a meeting should not disappear when the call ends. Veilo creates a live transcript with speaker labels and keeps it with the meeting, making the conversation searchable and easy to review later.

The dashboard brings recent meetings, upcoming calls, transcripts, and saved conversations into one place. Google Calendar connectivity keeps scheduled meetings and their context close to the records Veilo creates.

Memory across meetings

Many conversations are part of a longer thread. A decision from last week can change the right answer today, and asking users to manually restate that history defeats the purpose of an assistant.

Veilo can reference selected previous meetings alongside the current conversation and optional screen context. Users can ask what happened in a previous call, retrieve a decision, or carry an unresolved point into the next discussion.

Notes that are ready immediately

After a meeting, Veilo prepares a structured review of what mattered: a summary, important decisions, and follow-up actions. The result is designed to be useful immediately, before details are forgotten or the next message needs to be sent.

This closes the loop between live assistance and post-meeting work. The same product that helps during the conversation also preserves the context needed to act on it afterward.

Product principles

Veilo is being shaped around a few core ideas:

• Stay in the flow. Assistance should be available without pulling attention away from the conversation.
• Use the right context. Live speech, optional screen context, and selected meeting history should work together.
• Respect user control. Screen-aware and discreet behavior should remain visible choices for the person using the product.
• Work across tools. The desktop experience should remain useful regardless of which calling application hosts the meeting.
• Make the meeting actionable. Transcripts and summaries should lead to decisions and next steps, not become another archive nobody reads.

Status

Veilo is in beta. The live meeting assistant, screen-aware guidance, transcription, meeting history, meeting memory, automatic notes, and calendar-connected experience are represented in the current product.
